Simple Sur Offering Ritual for Your Beloved Pets

This is a simple and clear guide for performing the Sur offering, allowing you to send love and blessings to your cherished dog and cat.

Easy Steps:

1. Prepare the Offering: Take one scoop of the multi-grain mixture from your kit and place it in a ceramic container.
2. Ignite the Offering: Carefully light the mixture. As it burns, mentally or verbally invoke the blessings of the compassionate Avalokiteshvara (Guan Yin Bodhisattva).
3. Set Your Intention: Visualize the burning aroma transforming and expanding into all the things your beloved dog adored: their favorite foods, their cherished toys, and every element that brought them joy and comfort. Envision your dog feeling immense happiness and peace, body and mind, as they experience this.
4. Recite the Mantra: Chant the Six-Syllable Mantra “Om Mani Padme Hum” 108 times.
