風馬旗有多種款式：此款為『四臂觀音 六字大明咒』

四臂觀音，藏語稱「Chenrezig」，為一切諸佛慈悲化現，是藏傳佛教的核心信仰。祂的形象深植於西藏文化，象徵著無盡慈悲願力。

四臂： 象徵著四種無量心：慈、悲、喜、捨。前兩臂合掌持如意寶珠，象徵滿眾生願。另外兩臂分別持水晶念珠（代表度化眾生出離輪迴）和白蓮花（象徵清淨無染）。

四臂觀音是觀音菩薩的圓滿相。當觀音菩薩發願救度眾生、力量不逮而崩裂時，阿彌陀佛將祂以十一面千手千眼觀音展現，以更強大的力量應對眾生無窮的苦難。

Four-Armed Avalokiteshvara/Guanyin/Chenrezig：

Chenrezig, known in Tibetan as the embodiment of the compassion of all Buddhas, is central to the Tibetan Buddhist faith. His image, deeply woven into Tibetan culture, symbolizes boundless compassion and vows.

Four Arms: Represent the Four Immeasurables: loving-kindness, compassion, joy, and equanimity. His main hands are clasped at his heart, holding a wish-fulfilling jewel that symbolizes granting the wishes of all beings. The other two hands hold a crystal rosary (representing guiding beings out of samsara) and a white lotus (symbolizing purity).

The Eleven-Faced Form: The four-armed form is Avalokiteshvara’s complete manifestation. When his vow to save all beings fractured his body, Amitābha Buddha restored him as the Eleven-Faced Thousand-Armed Avalokiteshvara, a more powerful form to respond to endless suffering.

Patron of Tibet: In Tibetan history, Chenrezig is the patron deity of Tibet. Tibetan people believe that His Holiness the Dalai Lama is the true manifestation of Avalokiteshvara—specifically the Eleven-Faced Thousand-Armed form—guiding practitioners to embody universal values of compassion and peace. Faith in Avalokiteshvara and reverence for the Dalai Lama are deeply intertwined, forming the spiritual core of compassion and salvation in Tibetan culture and religion.
